It makes complete sense to be a Happy Lender. I love the fact I am helping Deki cover the cost of the loans they deliver for me.
With Deki, 100% of every loan goes direct to your chosen entrepreneur, so how can we improve on that?
Happily, there is a way - and it's simple.
If you can commit to keeping your money in your Deki account, and not withdrawing it, it becomes eligible for Gift Aid. This means we receive 25p from the tax man for each £1 you have invested. And all you have to do to unlock it is sign up as an (extra) Happy Lender*.
As a Happy Lender, you can continue adding funds to your account and choosing the entrepreneurs that you wish to support in the same way you always have. But the additional funds we'll be able to claim through Gift Aid really will make a difference.
As well as helping to keep our own lights on, this extra money will enable us to expand our work and find more of the people whose bright ideas could also prove transformative.
So if you want to see your investment work harder, please fill in the form at the top of this page.
The benefit to me of becoming a Happy Lender, is the pleasure of knowing that some of the tax that the Government takes from me is being given to Deki who pass it on to people who will enable people to change their lives.
Terms & Conditions: I am a UK tax payer. Please treat all loan credit top-ups I have made in the past 4 years, or will make in the future, as Gift Aid donations to Deki until further notice. * Please be aware that you must have paid an amount of income and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount of tax reclaimed by all charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs on all your donations in the tax year (6th April one year to 5th April in the next). We can currently receive an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. Other taxes such as Council Tax and VAT do not qualify. You will be unable to withdraw your Deki account balance because your credit top-ups are now considered donations to Deki. In order to claim Gift Aid, we need your name, the first line of your address, and your postcode.
If you agree to keep your money within your Deki account, you could add 25p to every £1 you invest at no extra cost
You'll be helping Deki work with more local field partners and to change countless more lives.
You pledge to keep re-lending your Deki account balance as always, rather than withdrawing it.
This means we can consider your loans a donation, and claim Gift Aid from the UK government.
